THE STORY SO FAR…
Machine Serve started back in 2004 with Phil Davey servicing telescopic handlers from his Ford Transit mobile workshop. Servicing machines in the Devon and Cornwall area he soon gained a good reputation for service levels and competitive pricing. Working on mostly Dieci telescopic handlers and Hanix mini-excavators and selling them throughout the South West of England to begin with.
Next, Machine Serve then formed an enduring partnership with Multiquip to supply and service their range of small plant and concreting equipment.
Machine Serve has helped to build up some agricultural products with manufacturers such as; Teagle, NC Engineering, Twose and a strong presence with Hall Engineering attachments.
Machine Serve is now very well known for selling Arrowhead breakers and Post Drivers which are proving a popular attachment for many construction sites and demolition teams.
Various new products were brought onboard. One of the most prominent has been the Lumag range of German imported small plant and garden machinery; which includes well made Mini-Dumpers, Mowers, Stump Grinders and heaps more.
Machine Serve commenced selling Yanmar Construction Equipment as a dealer. The Yanmar brand have a very, long and respected history as an engine manufacturer going back to 1912. And has just celebrated it’s 50th anniversary of the YFW500D, the world’s first tracked carrier equipped with a Yanmar diesel engine.
Machine Serve started dealing direct with Yanmar Construction Europe. This has made a huge difference to the price of machines and spare parts and has meant that Machine Serve and Yanmar are well placed to be competitive in the UK’s post Brexit marketplace.
Machine Serve still continues to grow and has recently doubled in size with new additions to the team to support the day to day running of the business. Enhancing relationships for both new and existing customers with their dedicated service and after-sales care.
